Fraud Mail Incident

Today, I received what appeared to be a job offer email. At first glance,it seemed legitimate
company, a role matching my skills, and even an interview process.But as I looked closer
a few red flags started to appear.

Shortly after I responded, I was contacted by someone claiming to be the HR.
They told me that my interview would be scheduled within 2 hours over the phone.
I found this unusual, especially because:
1. There was no prior video screening or proper scheduling.
2. The language in the email was poorly written ,filled with generic corporate buzzwords.
3. The domain of the email ID looked suspicious it wasn’t from the official company email.

After a brief exchange, they informed me that upon selection,
I would need to pay ₹1100 for document verification.

❗Why this is a scam:

No legitimate company will ask you to pay money to get a job.
Professional HRs never ask for fees for interviews or documentation.
The urgency, pressure (“in 2 hours”, “limited slots”, etc.) are classic scam.
Scam mails often impersonate big brands or well-known job portals.

🛑 What you should do:

Never pay any amount for a job opportunity.
Cross-check HR details from the official company website or LinkedIn.
Report such emails as phishing to your email provider.
Talk to someone before proceeding — a second opinion can save you from a trap.
